Job Description

We are seeking a skilled welder for 1st or 2nd shift openings.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Interpret blueprints and drawings, take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures.
2. Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements.
3. Set up components for welding according to specifications (e.g., cut material with powered saws to match measurements).
4. Operate angle grinders to prepare parts for welding.
5. Align components using calipers, rulers, etc., and clamp pieces.
6. Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal, or overhead).
7. Produce strong, clean welds.

Work Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 5:00 am – 3:30 pm. Occasional overtime may be required with prior notice.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a welder, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with various welding techniques (TIG, MMA, etc.).
• Proficiency in using electrical or manual tools (saws, squares, calipers, etc.).
• Knowledge of safety standards and willingness to use protective equipment (face-shield, gloves, etc.). Must have own face-shield.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and designs.
• Professional certification (e.g., AWS welding certificate) is a plus.
