Bridge City Steel in NW Portland is looking for an experienced Welder / Fabricator to join our great team.

Responsibilities

• MIG welding mild steel with a high degree of quality and minimal supervision.
• This position is in a manufacturing environment and the incumbent may perform manufacturing duties other than welding, such as tapping parts, beveling, and packaging.
• Read work orders/drawings to determine lengths, widths, and heights.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of verifiable experience in MIG welding.
• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Cut parts to size with a saw or ironworker.
