Job description

Who you are:

Are you a hardworking and responsible individual with solid welding and fabrication experience? Are you a team player with a great attitude? If so, we would love to hear from you!

What you will be doing:

1. Set up, test, and maintain a variety of equipment.
2. Assist in the fabrication of steel through hands-on work.
3. Use various techniques such as welding, drilling, grinding, and sawing to fabricate metal items.
4. Read technical drawings and blueprints.
5. Lead a fabricating shop of 5-6 technicians.
6. Lead by example and demonstrate excellence, modeling correct behavior for your team.
7. Direct and oversee a team of junior technicians.
8. Ensure the safety of your crew through regular training.
9. Maintain quality and quantity standards of the work produced.
10. Manage daily shop operations.
11. Assist machinists as needed.
12. Report to shop managers.
13. Handle customer service responsibilities.

Additional information:

• Salary: $50,000-$52,000 annually.
• Work hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, with start and end times that may vary depending on workload.
• Some weekends may be required.
• Overtime may be available if needed.
