Qualifications

• Welding on aluminum and steel components.

• DC/AC wiring experience is a plus.
• Plumbing and carpentry skills a plus.

Job Title: Trailer Technician (1st Shift)

Location: Ocala, FL

Pay: $18.00 – $25.00 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule: Full-Time | 1st Shift (7:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday)

Join Our Team as a Trailer Technician! We are seeking a skilled Trailer Technician to join our team in Ocala, FL. In this role, you will perform a variety of welding and fabrication functions on aluminum and steel trailers, including complex, precision welds requiring high strength and accuracy. Mickey Truck Bodies is a premier manufacturer of state‑of‑the‑art bodies and trailers, and specially engineered vehicles sold in over 50 countries around the world. What You’ll Do

• Perform welding operations on aluminum and steel components

What We’re Looking For

• Welding certification preferred
• DC/AC wiring experience
• Plumbing and carpentry skills a plus
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and blueprints
• Basic math skills
• Strong problem‑solving abilities

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, crawl, and maintain balance
• Ability to weld overhead and in confined spaces
• Must maintain regular and punctual attendance

Work Environment

This is a manufacturing environment with exposure to the following:

• Fumes and airborne particles
• Moving mechanical parts and vibration
• Elevated noise levels
• Occasional exposure to weather conditions
