Qualifications

• Welding on aluminum and steel components.
• Read blueprints, drawings, and job specifications.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Plan and lay out welding sequences.
• Follow safety procedures in a manufacturing environment.
• DC/AC wiring experience is a plus.
• Plumbing and carpentry skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding operations on aluminum and steel components.
• Weld overhead and underneath trailers.
• Read blueprints, drawings, and job specifications.
• Plan and lay out welding sequences.
• Set stops or guides to specified lengths using scales, rules, or templates.
• Position and align workpieces for accurate welds.
• Operate fabrication shop machinery and equipment.
• Measure workpieces to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Perform minor machine maintenance and setup.
• Observe operations to detect defects or malfunctions.
• Follow all safety procedures in a manufacturing environment.
