Job description

Linders Specialty Company has an immediate position available for a welder/fabricator. Candidate must have previous experience with MIG and TIG welding of mild steel, aluminum, and stainless steel. Must be capable of performing layout from blueprints.

Candidate will fabricate per print specifications using MIG and TIG welding methods and operate brake, shear, and plate roller when necessary.

Candidate is required to have three years of experience in a metal fabrication environment. Proficient in MIG welding. Demonstrate welder setup and adjustment and identify steel wire alloys and corresponding gas mixes and their applications. Recognize common alloys of steel and the corresponding weld procedures.

Preferred skills are five years of experience in a metal fabrication environment. Proficient in MIG welding steel, stainless, and aluminum. TIG welding experience. Demonstrate welder setup and adjustment and identify steel wire alloys and corresponding gas mixes and their applications. Recognize common alloys of steel and the corresponding weld procedures. Ability to operate brake, shear, and plate roller.
