Job Responsibilities:

• Weld proficiently using GTAW, FCAW, GMAW, or SAW processes, following basic weld procedures and blueprints.
• Adhere to safety rules and use proper PPE.
• Maintain an organized and clean work area for safety and efficiency.
• Understand welding, fixturing, and material applications for various steel alloys.
• Review schedules, prioritize work, and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Detect equipment faults or defective materials and notify supervisors.
• Visually inspect parts and operate machines with sufficient acuity.
• Lift and move weights up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Weld in various positions including flat, vertical, and overhead.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED; technical school preferred.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and work instructions.
• Basic math skills and ability to use measuring tools.
• Related manufacturing experience preferred.
