Job summary

Lift Solutions Holdings, in partnership with CapCo Crane & Hoist, is seeking a Welder/Fabricator to join our growing team building overhead cranes and lifting equipment.

You will read blueprints, lay out parts, weld steel and aluminum, inspect welds, and ensure safety standards in a fabrication shop or on-site. 3+ years' experience, ability to lift heavy materials, and a strong eye for detail are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints for layout and fabrication.
• 3+ years of welding/fabrication experience in industrial or manufacturing settings.
• Strong knowledge of MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and ability to follow OSHA guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and quality assurance practices.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a physically demanding environment.

Responsibilities

• Layout/manufacturing of electric overhead bridge cranes.
• Perform welding tasks on steel, aluminum, and other metals using MIG, TIG, SAW, FCAW processes.
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to fabricate parts and assemblies.
• Assemble fabricated components into final products with structural integrity.
• Inspect and test welds and finished products for safety and quality.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fabrication equipment.
• Follow safety protocols and OSHA regulations in shop or on-site.
• Troubleshoot fabrication issues to maintain workflow and quality.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Layout/manufacturing of electric overhead bridge cranes
• Perform welding tasks on various materials, such as steel, aluminum, and other metals, using various welding processes (GMAW, SAW, FCAW,) to meet precise quality standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to fabricate custom parts and assemblies for overhead cranes, lifting equipment, and other industrial applications.
• Assemble fabricated components into final products, ensuring structural integrity and alignment.
• Inspect and test welds and finished products to ensure adherence to safety standards, specifications, and quality control requirements.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fabrication equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance.
• Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations while working in a fabrication shop or on-site to ensure a safe work environment.
• Troubleshoot fabrication issues and identify solutions to maintain workflow and quality.

Requirements

Education & Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a welder and fabricator in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of welding techniques and metalworking processes, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and ability to follow OSHA guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and quality assurance practices.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
