Screen Machine Industries LLC is seeking a Welder/Fabricator to accurately perform welding operations and fabricate metal components to specifications. The role requires proficiency in MIG and TIG welding, blueprints interpretation, and strict adherence to safety and quality standards.

You will collaborate with the fabrication team to meet production deadlines, maintain equipment, and support continuous improvement on the shop floor. Overtime may be required to meet project timelines.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with metal fabrication and welding in a manufacturing/industrial setting.
• Skilled in MIG and TIG welding techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Knowledge of welding safety practices and standards.

• Perform fit up and welding operations using MIG or other methods as required.

• Prepare surfaces for welding by cleaning and positioning materials appropriately.

• Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
• Collaborate with production team to meet daily goals and deadlines.
• Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors.
• Assist in troubleshooting fabrication issues as needed.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Knowledge of welding safety practices and standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to lift heavy materials, stand for long periods, and perform manual tasks.
• Willingness to work extended shifts or overtime as needed.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
