Qualifications

• Proven experience in metal fabrication and welding in manufacturing/industrial settings.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Knowledge of welding safety practices and standards.
• Willingness to work overtime if needed.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform fit-up and welding operations using MIG and other methods as required.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications for welding tasks.
• Prepare surfaces and position materials for welding.
• Inspect welded components for quality and conformity to specs.
• Maintain welding equipment and tools in good condition.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear PPE.
• Collaborate with production team to meet daily goals and deadlines.
• Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors.
• Assist in troubleshooting fabrication issues as needed.
