ISC Manufacturing is seeking an EXPERIENCED MIG FABRICATOR/WELDER.

ISC is a local manufacturing company that designs and fabricates complex systems and parts in a wide array of industries such as Agriculture, Mining, Aggregates, Construction, Waste Processing, and Conveying. We are looking for a skilled Fabricator/Welder with a minimum of 1 year of experience in MIG/FCAW processes.

What You’ll Do:

1. Read blueprints and drawings and set up components for welding according to specifications.
2. Operate angle grinders, drill presses, handheld plasma, oxy fuel torch, ironworker, to prepare the parts that must be welded.
3. Weld components in all positions (horizontal, vertical, overhead).
4. Work off ground 12’ or more on occasion (using ladders/boom lifts).
5. Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition.
6. Always follow safety procedures and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
7. Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
8. Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to ensure smooth workflow and project coordination.
9. Must pass welding test prior to hiring.
10. If hired, there will be a 90-day probation period.

What You Need:

1. 1+ years’ experience in MIG Welding.
2. High school diploma or equivalent.
3. Valid Driver's License.
4. Proven experience in similar industries.
5. Experience with Screw Conveyors, Bucket Elevators, Mixers, and Heavy equipment Fabrication is a plus.
6. Certifications are a plus but not required.
7. Proficient in GMAW (.035 and .045) FCAW (.045 and 1/16”) .035 and .045 316LSI Stainless Steel.
8. Able to weld 14ga up to 1”+ Carbon steel and Stainless Steel.
9. Proficient in reading tape measures.
10. Self-starter and quality minded.
11. Experience in layout and fitting, various CNC cut and manual formed parts.
12. Able to work independently and in a team environment to meet deadlines for production needs.
13. Experience in using electrical or manual tools (saws, squares, grinders, etc.).
14. Must be able to use wrenches and basic hand tools to assemble part assemblies prior or after welding to assure quality fit up.
15. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
16. Must be able to rig/lift heavy odd-shaped parts safely and effectively with forklifts/overhead cranes.
17. Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves, etc.).
18. Demonstrates ability to be detail-oriented and pay close attention to accuracy and verbal directions.
19. Must have a good work ethic and be able to adjust to change, be a role model for others and lead by example. Willing to be a team player, take ownership, be honest, act with integrity and be willing to contribute to the success of the company. Must embrace safety as a core value by following all company policies and procedures.
20. This position requires squat/kneel, bend/stoop, crawl, twist/turn, grasp, push, reach overhead and outward frequently. Also requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and stand or walk up to 10 hours per day.
21. Must provide basic tools (squares, tape measure, levels, welding hood, layout tools).
22. Hydraulic shear, press brake, and part assembly skills are a plus but not required.
23. TIG Welding experience is a plus but not required.
24. Must be able to work Monday-Thursday 5-3:30. Sometimes Fridays and weekends as needed.
25. Pay $18+ depending on experience and welding test results.
