Job Description

Newell Corporation is currently looking to add an experienced Welder/Fabricator to our production team on day shift.

Newell Corp. offers a wide variety of welding, fabricating, machining, and assembly services at our facility located in Arlington, WA.

As a Fabricator/Welder at Newell Corp, you will be responsible for material/weld preparations, weldment fit-up, dimensional inspections, and finish welding of products such as aerospace tooling, lifting equipment, construction equipment, and weld build-ups for machinery repair.

Welder/Fabricator Responsibilities:

• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan layouts.
• Weld small and large components to customer specifications.
• Use specialized machinery for industrial welding and oversee machines that perform the same job.
• Assess welded surfaces, structures, and components to identify errors.

Welder/Fabricator Skills/Experience:

• Experienced in GMAW (gas metal arc welding)
• Experienced in FCAW (flux-cored arc welding)
• Experienced in GTAW (gas tungsten arc welding)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Candidates must be able to pass a hands-on weld test to demonstrate welding ability to AWS D1.1

Nice to Have:

• Experience with manual machine tools such as manual mills, lathes, and grinders
• Experience repairing/welding cast steel components
• Experience working in an AS9100 certified fabrication facility

Pay Range:

$25/hr - $40/hr
