Job summary

Mac-Trailer-Enterprises, Inc. in Billings, MT is seeking driven individuals to contribute to the welding and fabrication of aluminum trailers used for interstate transport.

Welding and/or fabrication experience is required, and a comprehension welding test will determine starting wage. You will set and operate welding equipment, read blueprints, follow safety rules, and participate in quarterly reviews with potential raises.

• Experience in aluminum trailer fabrication is a plus.

Job description

We are looking for driven individuals to contribute to the Welding and Fabrication of aluminum petroleum and dry bulk interstate transport trailers. Welding and/or fabrication experience is required. Applicants will be given a comprehension welding test at their interview to determine starting wage.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Successfully demonstrate proficient welding capabilities during weld test.
• Set and operate welding equipment.
• Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions with on the job training.
• Examine work pieces for defects and ensure conformance with specifications.
• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and work orders.
• Position and secure work pieces using hoists, cranes, wire, and banding machines or hand tools with on the job training.
• Follow all company safety rules and practices.

Quarterly performance reviews in the first year, with the possibility of a raise at each review. Annual performance reviews thereafter.

Typical work schedule is 7:00am to 3:30pm Monday through Friday with overtime as needed.
