Job Purpose and Summary

The Welder / Fabricator is responsible for welding and fabricating projects that come through the shop. Projects range from small in-house welding projects to large structural projects in the field.

Responsibilities

• Maintain quality on every project
• Ensure all safety regulations are adhered to
• Maintain a clean and tidy working environment
• Understand the final project and desired outcome of the project with moderate supervision
• Ensure all work is done professionally and per project specifications
• Works with complicated plans, special equipment, and various metals

Job Requirements and Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent
• Basic math skills
• WABO welding certification
• Ability to work well with others and independently
• Creativity on some projects
• Works efficiently and professionally with high quality results
• Has expert knowledge, experience and abilities in specialized areas such as CNC Plasma, Sheer, Press Brake, Saw, TIG welder, and equipment
• Must be able to push and pull 50 pounds. Lift and carry 70 pounds
• Mainly in the shop with some field work
• Hours typically range between 7am to 5pm, Monday- Friday with some exceptions for weekends

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay: $24.11- $54.25 per hour(based on qualifications and experience)
