Education

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience

• Experience with GMAW, GTAW, and FCAW 3G Vertical
• Carbon and Stainless-Steel experience required.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of welding techniques and equipment.
• Ability to work accurately and with precision.

Work environment

• The working environment is in an industrial shop; non-climate controlled and is often hot / humid. Frequent exposure to moving equipment, machines and shop tools, and other safety-sensitive hazards / risks. Must always be alert and able to safely perform the essential duties of the job without risking harm to oneself or others.

Walk: Frequently be able to walk distances through the shop and fields.

Use hands/fingers to handle or feel: Often use hands and arms for handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials. Require steady arm and hand control during stationary tasks. Need quick hand and arm movements for grasping, manipulating, and assembling objects.

Stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl: People in this position frequently need to stoop, kneel crouch or crawl.

See: Specific vision abilities include close and distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Carry, weight, Lift: The person in this position occasionally be able to lift and carry up to 100lbs.

Exposure to work: Considerable time will be spent in processing environments both in and outdoors. Environments can be loud, dusty, hot, or cold.
