Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, is seeking a skilled fabricator to mold steel components for concrete applications at our Fontana, CA facility. The role involves fabricating steel molds, using hand and power tools, and welding parts per specifications.

Qualifications

• Experience in steel fabrication; 1 year preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read fractions, tape measures, and shop prints.

• Fabrication of steel molds.
• Use hand and power tools, lifting equipment, plasma cutter, vertical band saw, drill press, grinders.

• Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Job Summary

Fabrication of steel molds for concrete which includes use of hand and power tools, various cutting equipment, and welding part together per specifications. This is a union role.

Job Responsibilities

• Fabrication of steel molds
• Use hand and power tools, lifting equipment, plasma cutter, vertical band saw, drill press, grinders, etc.
• Welding parts together per specifications
• Other duties may be assigned as needed

Job Requirements

• Must have experience in steel fabrication, at least 1 year is preferred
• High school diploma / equivalent
• Ability to perform basic mathematics
• Ability to read fractions, tape measures, and shop prints
• Understanding of basic hand and power tools and their use
• Capable of welding both horizontal and vertical, with ability to pass certification

Compensation

• The hourly pay rate is $27.63/hr
