Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, Inc. in the United States seeks a non-exempt welder/fabricator to perform a wide range of duties in an industrial manufacturing environment. You will read shop prints to weld and fabricate steel form parts safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities include cutting, welding (Arc & MIG), and assembling parts per specifications, with the possibility of additional tasks as needed. Must have steel fabrication experience and be able to read measurements and operate basic tools.

Qualifications

• Experience in steel fabrication; 1 year preferred.
• High school diploma / equivalent.
• Able to perform basic math and read fractions, read a tape measure, and read shop prints.
• Capable of Arc & MIG welding in horizontal and vertical positions, with ability to pass certification.
• Capable of using oxy/fuel torch to cut steel.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Experience with industrial steel tooling such as vertical band saw, drill press, grinders, etc.
• Prior use of plasma cutter, fork trucks and rolling equipment, overhead bridge cranes.
• Maintenance experience.

Job Requirements
