Description

Forest River, Inc., the nation's largest manufacturer of Recreational Vehicles, Cargo Trailers, Transit Buses, and Boats, has an immediate opening.

Responsibilities

• Perform all welding procedures including machine settings, bottles, and necessary fittings.
• Weld aluminum and set up and maintain welding machines (tip, liner, changes, etc.) and weld vertically, horizontally, and overhead.
• Inspect welds for cracks, burn-through, and weld spatter.
• Weld as required.
• Grind and clean areas as needed.
• Stay current in TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) and perform basic mechanical adjustments on all equipment as needed.
• Follow hazardous waste disposal program and fire prevention procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in GMAW (MIG) welding machines.
• Organizational skills.
• Ability to read blueprints.
