Job Opening: Welder at Collins Bus

Forest River, Inc., the nation's largest manufacturer of Recreational Vehicles, Cargo Trailers, Transit Buses, and Boats, has an immediate opening for a Welder.

Responsibilities

1. Perform all welding procedures including machine settings, bottles, and necessary fittings.
2. Weld aluminum and set up and maintain welding machines (tip, liner, changes, etc.), including welding vertical, horizontal, and overhead.
3. Inspect welds for cracks, burn-through, and weld spatter.
4. Weld where required.
5. Grind and clean areas as needed.
6. Stay current in TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) and perform basic mechanical adjustments on all equipment.
7. Follow hazardous waste disposal and fire prevention procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience with GMAW (MIG) welding machines.
• Organizational skills.
• Ability to read blueprints.
