Job description

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform diversified duties within the shop relating to the welding of various parts, assemblies, balers, etc. involved in the manufacture of the company's product line
  • Must be able to work from prints, bills of materials, work orders, etc. with little guidance from supervision
  • Monitor and keep group leader and supervision apprised of shortages, quality issues, and other roadblocks that may interfere with timely completion of production requirements
  • Maintain all necessary reports, records, Epicor, etc. daily as required
  • Maintain a system of orderly storage of required tools, supplies, and parts required within the department
  • Effectively communicate with supervision or group leader as necessary to establish and maintain proper flow of parts and information to and from your department
  • Communicate with group leader and supervision for print changes, updates, and modifications
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervision
Requirements
  • Must be able to work from prints, bills of materials, work orders, etc. with little guidance from supervision
  • Must be able to proficiently burn, and weld using most currently accepted processes. (Arc, MIG, etc.)
