Job summary

VMC Group is seeking a Welder to set up and operate welding equipment, read drawings, and lead welders to meet production standards.

The role involves welding in MIG/TIG/Stick, interpreting blueprints, training teammates, and thriving in a fast-paced shop environment with potential overtime. Competitive benefits and PTO are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2–3 years welding experience in a machine shop preferred.
• 1 year of supervisory or lead experience.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Requirements

Skills & Qualifications

• Basic math and strong attention to detail.
• Knowledge of safety standards.
• Willingness to be cross-trained.
• Strong organization and communication skills.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift, push, or pull up to 40lbs unassisted.
• Works in a typical production environment; must be flexible to work additional hours as needed.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 2–3 years of welding experience in a machine shop (preferred).
• 1 year of supervisory or lead experience.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
