Stony Brook Structures of Florida is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team in Leesburg, Florida. You will interpret blueprints and drawings to accurately weld structural components, contributing to the strength of infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in welding, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to operate necessary tools safely. A Professional Certification (AWS welding certificate) is preferred, along with the stamina to be on your feet all day and lift heavy materials.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Welder.
• Strong understanding of health and safety guidelines.
• Ability to lift and carry at least 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics.
• Plan layout and measurements of structural components.
• Safely operate angle grinders and other hand tools.
