Avery Weigh-Tronix is seeking a welding operator in Minnesota to set up welding machines, weld various thicknesses and types of steel, and build parts to order. You will read blueprints, clamp structures, and ensure completeness of related paperwork.

Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, operating cutting tools, and collaborating with the team to meet production deadlines while adhering to safety standards. Overtime is common, with shifts extending into Fridays and occasional Saturdays.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Welding experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up welding machines and weld various thicknesses and types of steel.
• Maintain welding equipment and tools.
• Set up dies and build parts to order.
• Operate cutting torches, welders, hoists, drills, grinders, and sand blasters.
• Read blueprints and clamp welded structures correctly.
• Complete paperwork accurately.
