Position Summary

The Welder is responsible for all welding needed to create a product according to customer specifications and prepare cylinders/jobs for assembly.

Responsibilities

1. Read prints.
2. Perform Tig, Mig, and Stick welding as needed.
3. Prepare cylinders and jobs for assembly.
4. Operate forklift to move jobs around the shop.
5. Perform other related duties as assigned.
6. Adhere to safety protocols while performing shop duties.

Qualifications

Required Skills/Abilities

• No experience necessary; training will be provided.
• Possess basic tools and equipment.
• Knowledge and ability to perform Mig and Tig welding.
• Basic knowledge of safe forklift operation and handling of bulk materials is a plus.
