An opportunity for a Fabricator/Welder to join our client, a company that manufactures specialist products for various clients worldwide. This role offers a 4-day working week: Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday, with an early finish on Friday. Our client has a proven track record of delivering high-profile projects and has recently secured another major contract, leading to the need for a permanent Fabricator/Welder.

Skills & Experience

• Welding and fabricating bespoke components using stainless steel, nickel alloys, and mild steel, with sheet metal gauges generally between 0.9mm and 6mm.
• Fabricating frameworks from mild steel, stainless steel, hollow sections, and angle iron to a high standard.
• Reading engineering drawings and translating them into finished products with minimal supervision.
• Aiming for high standards of finish and tolerance on bespoke fabricated products.
• Completing problem logs regarding issues with drawings and materials.

Duties

• Welding and fabricating bespoke products, including sheet metal, in a light to medium fabrication environment.
• Using MIG, TIG, and spot welding techniques.
• Working to fine tolerances with accuracy and attention to detail.
