Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment required.
• Proficiency in MIG welding.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift throughout the workday.
• Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
• Set up welding equipment and select appropriate welding materials and techniques.
• Perform MIG welding on metal components in various positions.
• Inspect completed welds to ensure quality standards and specifications are met.
• Operate grinders and other finishing tools to prepare and complete welds.
• Maintain welding equipment and keep work areas clean and safe.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and deadlines.
