Job summary

Randstad Staffing is partnering with a leading playground manufacturer in Delano, MN to hire a skilled MIG Welder. The role offers a strong culture, growth opportunities, and an ESOP environment.

You will read diagrams and blueprints, set up, operate and maintain welding equipment, and assemble parts per customer specs. Aluminum and stainless steel experience is a plus.

• Ability to read blueprints/diagrams.
• Welding aluminum and stainless steel experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret diagrams, sketches, and blueprints to produce metal products. Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment.
• Assemble components in jigs or fixtures; align parts for proper assembly; weld in various positions.
• Clean excess welds, slag, and spatter; verify conformance of parts to specifications.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

Read and interpret diagrams, sketches, and blueprints to produce metal products according to customer and company specifications. Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assemble components in jigs or fixtures
• Align parts or workpieces to ensure proper assembly
• Operate welding equipment in flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead positions
• Clean excess weld, slag, and spatter
• Verify conformance of completed parts to specifications

Attributes

• Self-motivated
• Own operation and control
• Able to read blueprints
• Attention to detail

Qualifications

• Able to lift up to 50lbs
• Welding experience with aluminum required
• 1+ year(s) previous professional welding experience required
• Welding experience with stainless steel preferred
• Post-secondary certificate, vocational training preferred
• Successfully pass internal AWS weld test
