Job summary

AFL Duncan, SC is seeking a CNC Mill Operator to produce precision machined parts by operating CNC equipment in a fast-paced, team-based environment. You will follow procedures, monitor quality, and support efficient changeovers while controlling costs.

You should be comfortable working nights on second shift, pass pre-employment screens, lift up to 40 lb, and use basic measurement tools. AFL offers shift premiums, a 401(k) match, strong benefits, and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred or 1+ year manufacturing experience.
• Able to pass pre-employment physical / drug screen.
• Must be able to lift between 15 and 40 pounds repeatedly daily.
• Safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, and hearing protection as required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production and conduct efficient machine changeovers.

The CNC Mill Operator is responsible for producing machined parts by operating Computer Numerical Control equipment. This person must be diligent in adhering to procedures, focused on producing the best quality products, being highly productive and mindful of costs. The successful candidate must be comfortable working in a challenging, dynamic, team-based manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to and promote the environmental, health & safety policies of AFL.
• Monitor production and conduct efficient machine changeovers.

Requirements

• Physical demands:

  • Must be able to lift between 15 and 40 pounds repeatedly daily.

  • Safety Glasses must be always worn.

  • Some positions will require ear plugs to be always worn.
