Job summary

Timpte, Inc. in David City, NE is seeking motivated Welders to join our manufacturing team. You’ll contribute to building high-quality products in a hands-on, team-focused environment, with an emphasis on safety and craftsmanship.

Starting pay is $22.00 per hour with DOE, with total earning potential up to $27.40/hour including annual bonus potential up to $5,000. Enjoy a 4-day production schedule with no weekends and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Dependable, ready to work as part of a team.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and schedules.
• Knowledge to operate machines, hand tools, tape measures and other equipment.
• Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
• Willing to pass physical, drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Weld assemblies using fixtures and clamps.
• Set up and operate robotic welders as assigned.
• Use cutting torches and grinders as needed.
• Perform preventative maintenance to keep tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Practice good housekeeping and keep a clean and organized work area.
• Inspect work for quality and workmanship.
• Miscellaneous duties as assigned by team leader or supervisor.
• Responsible for working safely and for the safety of others in the area.
