Associated Staffing Inc. is hiring a Welder/Weld Production Trainee in Kearney, NE. The role offers a four-day regular workweek and a path to permanent placement. Start rate is $19–$20 per hour with a strong benefits package once hired on.

If you have at least one year of production welding experience and can set and adjust welding machines, we want to hear from you. Safety, quality and attentiveness to detail are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of production welding experience.
• Ability to set and adjust a welding machine.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Strong attention to quality and detail
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Overtime availability on Fridays and Saturdays as needed

Responsibilities

• Perform welding on galvanized and raw steel according to prints.
• Read and follow blueprints and print specifications.
• Set and adjust welding machines for specific jobs.
• Select voltage, current, heat, gas and feed settings.
• Set up machines and jigs for welding operations.
• Operate related equipment and perform first-piece inspections.
• Move materials using material-handling equipment.
• Follow safety, quality and production procedures.
