Job summary

Timpte Inc in Lincoln, NE is hiring an Engineering Technician to support development, manufacturing, and procurement of tools and fixtures. The role focuses on improving safety, throughput, and quality across the production floor.

The candidate should have an AAS in manufacturing or 3+ years in related fields, be proficient in reading drawings, and have knowledge of fabrication and welding. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• AAS degree in manufacturing or 3+ years of related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering part drawings.
• Understanding of fabrication, subassembly, and final line assembly in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in metal fabrication and/or welding preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support new process development and sustainment activities to improve production safety, throughput, and quality.
• Identify and facilitate process improvement projects, teams, and trainings to drive continuous improvement in conjunction with our Timpte Production System.
• Assist with equipment and/or tooling design, development, installation, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain and update tooling and process documentation for all equipment and processes.

This position supports efforts of all manufacturing departments through the development, manufacturing, and/or procurement of tools, fixtures, equipment, and processes.

Pay for this position is $65k-75k dependent on experience + Monthly Bonuses (up to $5,000 per year)!!

What You'll Be Doing:

• Support new process development and sustainment activities to improve production safety, throughput, and quality.

What We're Looking for:

• Must have an understanding of Fabrication, Subassembly, and Final line assembly in a Manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to solve problems and implement solutions.
• Manufacturing experience in metal fabricator and/or welding is preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs; including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written.
