Job summary

Timpte Inc is seeking a Senior Product Engineer for our Lincoln, Nebraska location. The role leads innovative product concepts from initial idea through validation, production launch and early production support.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in product design, strong 3D CAD experience (SolidWorks preferred) and familiarity with FEA. Excellent communication and collaboration with production teams are essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years engineering experience in product design.
• Engineering degree required.
• Ability to develop original solutions and rethink existing designs.
• Experience with real-world loads, vibration, fatigue and harsh environments.
• Design for manufacturability with production teams.
• Advanced 3D CAD experience; SolidWorks preferred.
• Experience with FEA/structural analysis preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word/Excel).

Responsibilities

• Develop new product concepts from idea through validation, production launch and early production support.
• Lead design efforts to advance products beyond current state.
• Own 3D CAD designs and release documentation for manufacturing.
• Collaborate with design and production teams throughout prototype to launch.
