Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints, specifications, drawings or schematics to determine welding processes.
• Position, align, fit and weld parts to form complete units or subunits using jigs, torches and hand tools.
• Safely use lifting devices to position materials or parts as needed.
• Perform inspections before, during, and after production to ensure materials meet specifications.
• Participate in continuous improvement and corrective action activities.
• Maintain material inventory and support housekeeping and 5-S practices.
