Job summary

BlueScope North America is seeking skilled welders to join our team in Visalia, CA. You will interpret blueprints, set up welds, operate lifting devices, and ensure quality through precise measurements and inspections.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints, specifications, drawings or schematics to determine welding processes.
• Position, align, fit and weld parts to form complete units or subunits, following blueprints and layout specifications using jigs, welding torches, and hand tools
• Lift and position materials using cranes and forklifts as needed.
• Ensure quality through inspections before, during, and after production to meet exact specifications.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and corrective action activities.
• Maintain material inventory and support housekeeping and 5‑S practices.
