Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints, specifications, drawings or schematics to determine appropriate welding processes.
• Position, align, fit and weld parts to form complete units or subunits, following blueprints and layout specifications using jigs, welding torches, and hand tools.
• Lift and position materials using lifting devices such as cranes and forklifts.
• Ensure quality by measuring and inspecting materials before, during, and after production.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and corrective action activities.
• Maintain and organize material inventory and perform housekeeping and 5-S practices.
