Job summary

NMG Aerospace is seeking an experienced TIG welder to prototype and complete welding and brazing tasks for aerospace components. You will read blueprints and weld to print specifications, using TIG equipment and related tools to build stainless steel, aluminum, and titanium pressure vessels and structures.

The role requires passing welding certifications (Mil Std. 1595 / AWS D17.1) and maintaining stringent safety standards, with a 2:00pm–10:00pm shift, Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years TIG welding experience required.
• Must be able to read blueprints and weld to print specifications.
• Must pass welding testing for Mil Std. 1595 / AWS D17.1 certification.
• Must adhere to PPE and safety protocols.
• Must satisfactorily complete pre-employment screening and vision tests.

Responsibilities

• Weld stainless steel, aluminum, and titanium pressure vessels and structures.
• Perform brazing and electromechanical assembly using hand tools.
• Use TIG welders and related equipment to meet weld specifications.
• Inspect and measure tanks using gauges to ensure accuracy and integrity.
• Support Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
