Job summary

Land Pride, a division of Great Plains Manufacturing, is seeking an experienced 2nd Shift Welder in Salina, KS. This role works Monday through Thursday from 3:30 p.m.

to 2:00 a.m., with overtime on Fridays as required, and involves welding in flat, horizontal, vertical or overhead positions and operating welding robots. You will inspect welds, perform quality checks, lift heavy parts, and adhere to OSHA safety regulations while contributing to Lean initiatives and maintaining a strong team focus

Qualifications

• MIG welding experience required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Experience with welding robots is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical or overhead positions.
• Operate welding robots.
• Lift heavy parts throughout the shift.
• Clean, repair and examine welds as needed.
• Conduct quality checks throughout the shift.
• Follow safety regulations and wear PPE.
• Other duties as assigned.

Land Pride, a division of Great Plains Manufacturing, currently has an opening for an experienced 2nd Shift Welder at our Kipp Facility.

This position works Monday through Thursday, from 3:30 p.m. to 2:00 a.m., with overtime on Fridays, as required.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical or overhead positions
• Operation of various welding robots
• Lift heavy parts throughout the shift
• Clean, repair and examine welds as needed
• Conduct quality checks throughout the shift
• Follow all Great Plains policies and OSHA safety regulations and wears prescribed safety and protective equipment
• Other duties may be assigned that require other qualifications, physical demands, and/or work environment.
