Wastequip is hiring a Welder for 2nd shift in Eagleville/Murfreesboro/Spring Hill/Franklin, TN. The role focuses on MIG welding in a fast-paced manufacturing setting, with emphasis on accuracy and safety. You will read blueprints, measure parts, and weld to spec.

The position requires reliable attendance, physical stamina to lift up to 90 lbs, and the ability to work the 2:30 PM–11:00 PM shift with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• MIG welding experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read blueprints and measuring tools.
• Math basics including fractions and decimals.
• Able to pass EHS tests and clearances.
• Fast-paced production environment experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Position parts in benches or fixtures and tack weld as directed.
• MIG welds along various lines (vertical, horizontal, overhead).
• Set up regulators, lights torch, adjust gas flow and pressure.
• Inspect welds for bead size and specifications; grind slag as needed.

This is a full-time position with great benefits including but not limited to Health Insurance, 401K Plan, Paid Vacation/Sick time, and so much more. The ideal candidate will be a MIG Welder with prior experience in a manufacturing environment.**2nd shift hours: 2:30PM-11:00PM****Hourly Pay: $22.00 + $3.00 shift differential****Responsibilities*** Positions parts in jigs or fixtures on bench or floor, or clamps parts together along layout marks* Lays out, positions, and tack welds work pieces* MIG Welds along vertical, horizontal, and overhead weld lines* Connects regulator valves to oxygen and fuel gas cylinders for cutting torch. Turns regulator valves to activate flow of gases, lights torch, and adjusts gas mixture and pressure to obtain desired flame.
