As a Welder, you will be responsible for welding a variety of material thicknesses, various joint configurations, and positions. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this position is based in Chattanooga, TN.
Shift: Mon-Thurs 5 pm-3:30 am, Friday 3:00 pm-11:30 am
Industrial manufacturing environment with loud noise level. Facility is enclosed, ventilated, and heated but not air-conditioned. Smoke from welding is removed by direct airflow from fans. More than 2/3 of time is spent near moving mechanical parts, in heat/humidity. PPE such as safety toe shoes, safety eyewear, and hearing protection are required.
