Anchor Fabrication in Ashland, MS is seeking a motivated Welder for the 1st shift. The ideal candidate will have experience with MIG and TIG welding, and the ability to read blueprints and tape measures.

This full-time position offers competitive hourly pay ($18.00–$21.50) and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and a matching 401(k) plan. Candidates must pass the weld bend test and safety procedures.

Job Details

Job Location: Anchor Fabrication MS Ashland - Ashland, MS. Position Type: Full Time. Salary Range: $18.00 - $21.50Hourly. Job Shift: 1st Shift. Anchor Fabrication has immediate opening for a highly motivated Welder with a desire to work in a fast paced, quality centered environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Knowledge and understanding of weld symbols
• MIG/TIG weld
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Ability to read blueprints
• Responsible for continually maintaining a clean working environment
• Use proper PPE and follow all safety procedures
• MUST PASS COMPANY WELD BEND TEST
• Physical weld testing on site must be acceptable

Minimum Requirements

• 1+ years of welding experience
• Demonstrated punctual and dependent performance
• Previous experience working in industrial manufacturing industry preferred

Environment/Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
• Must be able to position weld apparatus in any position the work requires
• Position requires ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
• Position may require bending, kneeling and stooping
• Exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors and chemicals
