Job summary

Anchor Fabrication in La Vergne, TN is seeking highly motivated Welders for 2nd shift (2:30 pm–11:00 pm) in a fast-paced, quality-focused shop. You will weld using MIG and TIG, read weld symbols and blueprints, and work with carbon steel, stainless, and aluminum on-site with PPE adherence.

Requirements include 1+ years welding experience, punctuality, and prior industrial manufacturing exposure. Bonus opportunities and benefits available in a safety-conscious environment.

Responsibilities

• Weld with MIG/TIG and robot welding.

• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow PPE requirements.

Job Details: Job Location: LaVergne, TN - La Vergne, TN 37086, ANCHOR FABRICATION has immediate openings for highly motivated Welders seeking to work in a fast-paced, quality-centered environment.

2nd shift 2:30 pm- 11:00 pm must be able to work overtime as needed

Job Responsibilities

• Knowledge and understanding of weld symbols
• Welding (MIG/TIG)- Robot Welding
• Freehand-weldaluminum
• Carbon Steel, Stainless, and Aluminum
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Ability to read blueprints
• How to use a large belt sander
• Responsible for continually maintaining a clean working environment
• Uses proper PPE and follows all safety procedures

Minimum Requirements

• 1+ years of welding experience
• Demonstrated punctual and dependable performance
• Previous experience working in the industrial manufacturing industry is preferred

Environment/Physical Requirements

This position is carried out in a weld shop environment and as such, has the following physical work requirements:

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be able to position the weld apparatus in any position the work requires
• Position requires the ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
• Position may require bending, kneeling, and stooping
• Exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, and chemicals

Physical weld testing on-site must be acceptable.
