Job summary

TempStaff, Inc. in Richland, MS is seeking an experienced MIG Welder/Fabricator to join our team. You will fit and weld assemblies per job instructions and drawings using MIG welding, ensuring quality and dimensional accuracy.

You will operate shop equipment, prepare joints, handle materials safely, and maintain a clean, safe work environment. This temp-to-permanent role offers a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of welding experience required.
• Experience with MIG welding.
• Positive can-do attitude and strong work ethic.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Willingness to improve welding skills and meet high-quality standards.
• Ability to read weld symbols, weld procedures, and drawings.
• Knowledge of OSHA guidelines and safe work practices.
• Ability to use fabrication hand tools: grinders, drills, and air tools.
• Ability to operate forklifts and overhead cranes.
• Ability to rig, hoist, lift, and move materials safely.
• Maintain daily shop and work area housekeeping.
• Must have steel-toe boots.

Job description

A manufacturing company in Richland, MS, is seeking an experienced MIG Welder/Fabricator to join their team. This position is responsible for fitting and welding assemblies according to job instructions and drawings using the MIG welding process. Additional duties include operating shop equipment, preparing joints, safely handling materials, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. This is a temp-to-permanent opportunity with a Monday through Friday schedule, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Pay $19.00 per hour
