Anchor Fabrication has an immediate opening for a highly motivated Welder in Ashland, MS. This full-time, first-shift position requires 1+ year of welding experience, the ability to read blueprints and tape measures, and knowledge of weld symbols. Position Type: Full Time

Salary Range: $20.00 Hourly

Job Shift: 1st Shift

Anchor Fabrication has immediate opening for a highly motivated Welder with a desire to work in a fast paced, quality centered environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Knowledge and understanding of weld symbols
• MIG/TIG weld
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Ability to read blueprints
• Responsible for continually maintaining a clean working environment
• Use proper PPE and follow all safety procedures

Minimum RequirementsMinimum Requirements

• 1+ years of welding experience
• Demonstrated punctual and dependable performance
• Previous experience working in industrial manufacturing industry preferred

Environment/Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
• Must be able to position weld apparatus in any position the work requires
• Position requires ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
• Position may require bending, kneeling and stooping
• Exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors and chemicals
• Physical weld testing on site must be acceptable
