Morgan Truck Body in Riverside, CA is seeking a Welder for 1st shift to join our welding team. You will fuse aluminum, steel, and galvanneal components to build durable truck bodies and support heavy production.

You will read blueprints, operate welding equipment, and participate in setup, maintenance, and quality checks. We value safety, certifications, and a strong work ethic to drive our high‑quality output.

Qualifications

• Must successfully pass a weld test to demonstrate skill and quality
• Proficient in welding mild steel and galvanneal materials
• Minimum of 6 months welding experience or completion of welding school training
• Solid grasp of basic math, tape measurement, and computer skills essential for precision
• Basic experience with hand tools to support welding tasks
• Able to accurately understand and apply measurements on the job
• Competent in reading and interpreting blueprints for specialized welding applications
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Must be 18 years or older

Responsibilities

• Blueprint interpretation: read blueprints to weld metals with precision and deliver exactly what customers and the company demand
• Heavy equipment operation: operate saws and other equipment to prepare materials for the build
• Machine setup & maintenance: set up machines and perform preventive maintenance to keep production running smoothly
• Quality inspection: inspect each weld for defects and ensure top-tier quality
• Welding techniques & certification: learn and apply multiple welding methods and pursue certifications
• Safety & quality compliance: conduct safety and quality checks to guarantee flawless results
• Safety policy adherence: follow and promote all safety policies to protect yourself and your team
