Morgan Truck Body in Rydal, GA is hiring a Welder for 1st shift. You will operate welding equipment to fuse aluminum, steel, and galvanneal components for truck bodies, maintaining precision and quality to build durable fleets.

This role offers new pay rates ($24.00–$26.40 per hour) and opportunities to advance; candidates need weld test, 6 months experience or welding school, HS diploma, blueprint literacy, and ability to lift up to 35 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must pass weld test to demonstrate skill and quality.
• Proficient in welding mild steel and galvanneal materials.
• Minimum of 6 months welding experience or completed welding school.
• Able to read blueprints and perform precise measurements.
• HS diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and weld metals with precision.
• Operate heavy equipment and prepare materials safely.
• Set up machines and perform preventative maintenance.
• Inspect welds for defects and ensure top quality.
• Learn and apply multiple welding methods and certifications.
• Follow safety and quality policies to maintain standards.
