Job summary

Morgan Truck Body in Janesville, WI is seeking a Welder for the 1st shift. You will operate welding equipment to fuse aluminum, steel, and galvanneal components that form our truck bodies, delivering strong, durable results ready for the road.

You must pass a weld test and have at least 6 months welding experience or complete welding school. A High School Diploma or GED is required. On-demand pay and a $4,000 signing bonus accompany a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must successfully pass a weld test to demonstrate skill and quality.
• Proficient in welding mild steel and galvanneal materials.
• Minimum of 6 months welding experience or completion of welding school training.
• Solid grasp of basic math, tape measurement, and computer skills essential for precision.
• Basic experience with hand tools to support welding tasks.
• Able to accurately understand and apply measurements on the job.
• Competent in reading and interpreting blueprints for specialized welding applications.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Age: Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints to weld metals with precision.
• Operate heavy equipment such as saws to prepare materials.
• Set up machines and perform preventative maintenance.
