Job summary

M-B Companies, an Aebi Schmidt brand located in Chilton, Wisconsin, is seeking a Welder for 1st shift at MB Airport. The role involves MIG welding on stainless steel and carbon steel, weld preparation, and finishing to customer drawings with robotic welding experience valued.

The successful candidate will interpret drawings, apply appropriate filler materials, and set up welding parameters. Strong attention to process inspection and documentation is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, including weld requirements.
• Knowledge of wire and filler material applications for various steel alloys, aluminum, and other materials as needed.
• Working knowledge of fixture and weld set up parameters (amps, volts, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Proficient in welding techniques including robotic welding.
• Use conventional and precision measuring instruments.
• Perform process inspection, certification, and documentation.
• Maintain welding equipment.

Position

Welders are responsible for various types of weld preparation, Mig welding on stainless steel and carbon steel and weld finishing operations to manufacture product to customer drawings, specifications, or other forms of instruction along with Robotic Welding experience.
