Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company (US) in Trenton, MO is seeking a Set-Up & Operator to join the welding cell. You will set up equipment, perform GMAW and GTAW welds, assess weld integrity, and implement teach points to ensure quality.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 18+ years old, and welding experience is preferred. Monday–Friday 7am–3:30pm with potential overtime and competitive hourly pay starting at $20.09, increasing to $23.73 after 360 days.

Qualifications

• Must be qualified to perform the duties of the occupation in accordance with quality and quantity standards and to perform the physical, mental, and visual requirements of the job in a safe and efficient manner.
• Highschool Diploma or GED.
• Must be a minimum of 18 years old to be employed in manufacturing per OSHA rules.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate all the equipment in the cell including the automatic welders and assist operators that might be assigned to the cell.
• Perform tests and appropriate repairs to tooling such as adapters, fixtures, and perform physical and quality checks of parts from tooling.
• Provide production reports and maintain records, maintain equipment through preventative maintenance, move materials, load wire coils, and change fixtures and testers as required.
• Clean and maintain the area.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
