Job summary

MAT Holdings, Inc. manufactures air compressors and related welding operations in Minnesota. The position focuses on MIG wire-feed welding on production lines; training will be provided and safety and quality standards apply.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED; MIG welding experience is preferred. Training on AMSE code pressure vessels will be provided. First shift and opportunities for advancement are available.

Qualifications

• Welding experience with MIG processes is preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and identify weld defects.
• Willing to learn AMSE code requirements for pressure vessels.

Responsibilities

• Perform wire-feed MIG welding on production lines.
• Read blueprints and troubleshoot weld defects.
• Lift materials and products up to 50 lbs as required.
• Troubleshoot welding issues and adjust parameters accordingly.
• Follow safety, quality, and attendance standards.

Job Description

• We manufacture air compressors. Will perform wire feed welding, for which you will be certified/trained, including AMSE code pressure vessels.
• Production type welding using wire feed arc welders.
• Repetitive lifting of materials and product throughout the process up to 50 lbs.
• Troubleshoot weld problem and make adjustments to correct problem.
• We will train!
• Know and understand blueprints, learn how to identify welding defects and use weld gauges.
• Safety conscious, quality minded, good work habits and attendance.
