1st Shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Knowledge and use of 5 and 6 axis welding robots (coordinated motion is a plus)

· Familiarity with use of multiple GMAW profiles

· Ability to work in a team environment.

· Ability to correctly fixture and locate parts for robotic welding.

· Operates machines to weld components together.

· Inspects parts according to blueprints.

· Use of calipers, micrometers, measuring fixtures and gauges.

· Maintains expected production rate numbers.

· Perform changeovers and hand weld repairs as needed

· Perform welding material changeovers and general fixture maintenance and repair.

· Ability to locate and run job programs. Make program changes as needed.

· Ability to troubleshoot robotic welding cells including I/O logic as well as identify most likely points of failure.

· Responsible for working in accordance with our documented Quality System and for ensuring that products and services meet the customer’s specified requirements

· Maintains a clean and orderly work area using the 5S process, and follows all safety policies and procedures

· May be required by management to perform other reasonable work-related tasks

· May be required to work different shifts, hours, overtime and weekends if needed

Education:

· High school or equivalent ()

· Welding: 2 years ()

Minimum Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. High school diploma or general education degree (GED); with 1-3 year(s) of related experience and/or training . Robotic welding and setup experience necessary. AWS certification , but not mandatory.
